The Best Hair Clips That Will Definitely Spark Joy This Season

I know the whole ethos of Marie Kondo is to not buy/store lots of crap you don’t need (anyone else been binge watching her show on Netflix?), however she also says that you should keep anything that sparks joy.

And at the moment, hair clips spark a lot of joy for me. They are an easy way to update an outfit if you’re strapped for cash – thought there are a lot of gorgeous designer options out there too if you have the budget, thank you Simone Rocha.

Plus, they take virtually no room at all to store, and can easily fit in one of those tiny storage boxes Marie loves. So really, it’s a win-win situation.

Although I’ve been spotting lots of statement velvet headbands lately, the hair clip is still the key accessory of the season, and is much more wearable.

If you’re a minimalist at heart, opt for a classic tortoiseshell clip, or if you’re a maximalist, then you’ll love all the pearl and sequin offerings, which in my opinion go well beyond party season.
