The Golden Globes 2018 red carpet was, as always, an stellar display of show-stopping looks. Last year, the women of Hollywood came together to protest sexual harassment and gender inequality in the wake of a slew of sexual scandals and wore black on the red carpet.

Seth Meyers hosted the 75th Golden Globe Awards, taking over from Jimmy Fallon who presented the 2017 awards.

But what about the action on the Golden Globes 2018 red carpet? Several celebrities opted for pops of colour on the red carpet. Alison Williams wore a sequin embellished gown with a splash of orange. And Mandy Moore’s red waisted gown mirrored her tomato red lips. Metallic accents were spotted on the red carpet too, with Samira Wiley, Jessica Chastain and Saoirse Ronan all opting for a bit of the sparkle. And, how could you speak about metallics without mentioning Margot Robbie’s embellished Gucci gown – it’s gorgeous. Alexis Bledel kept things classic in a monochrome ensemble. As for trousers on the red carpet? Christina Hendricks and Debra Messing went for structured pieces while Claire Foy channelled Le Smoking vibes in a tailored tux.

With the slew of black dresses on show, celebrities went all out with their accessories. Can we just talk about Zoe Kravitz’s earrings? The starlet, who’s recent crop has us reaching for the scissors, sported a dazzling pair of emerald beauties, which neatly matched a fabulous ring. And, let’s take cue from Maggie Gyllenhaal, when it comes to earrings, the longer the better.

Eva Longoria debuted her baby bump on the red carpet and showed us how to pull off pregnancy style with aplomb, in a plunging neckline gown.

Not to be outdone, the gents were sharply dressed too with Ansel Elgort, Kitt Harrington, Matt Smith and the Franco brothers leading the pack.
